Album Name: School Supplies Drive Return to Albums
Album Date: Aug 1, 2009
Description: We collected about $2,000 in cash for teachers to purchase school supplies as well as a cart load of school supplies for students. Mahalo to Robert Kawahara and team!!

Community Service Chair Robert Kawahara designed special Rotary deposit cans that club members used to collect donations. Club members Alexis Dascoulias and Galen Nakamura are having fun as they competed to raise the most money. President Rita Barreras, Community Service Chair Robert Kawahara, and club member Gayle Long begin the second shift to collect donations.
Visitors to Kahului Foodland Spencer and Cami Rafanan donate school supplies. Their parents were happy to let us take their photo. A customer making a donation. Meet Michele Kawahara who stopped by to shop at Kahului Foodland and visit with husband Robert. It was a pleasure meeting her. Gayle Long and Robert Kawahara are having a successful afternoon of collecting donations. Club member Peggy Giddis accepts a donation from a customer.
